Dennison Smock, Paratrooper jump smock, Belgian?

Description

An original example the the famous "Dennison smock" .  This is in good condition considering its age. packing  The smock itself is undated with no original tags remaining. It has several small repairs the most noticeable is a missing snap on the upper left hand pocket. The snaps on the left side of the tailpiece are a different color than those on the right, indicating that they may have been replaced at sometime.  I had this on a Paratrooper mannequin for years and it looked great. A must have for any  para display.

Length of tailpiece - -14"
A kind potential bidder has told me that he believes this to be a Belgian smock.  I was going by the insignia as there are no internal tags.  I'm posting this note because I am not an expert in these items, and apparently this person is?
