Original WWII Canadian Helmet Complete with Liner, Chin Strap & Net. Dated 1940

Description

Nice original example of the WWII Canadian Brodie helmet or "Tommy" helmet.  This type was worn by all members of the British armed forces as well as the British commonwealth forces. This style of helmet was used from WWI through WWII until the issue of the pattern 1944 helmet at the end of WWII.  A great collector's piece for the history buff, hat collector, or re-enactor.  The helmet is marked on the inside rim of the helmet with the markings:  C.L./ C.  1940  and below this is the number 2.
C.L./C.
stands for the Canadian Motor Lamp Company.
